Dear Parents & Guardians,

There are a few deadlines to keep in mind this week:

• Today is the last day for school photo orders
• Wednesday is the last day for Barnardo’s donations
• Please remember we are holding parents’ evenings this week on Wednesday and Thursday

On Wednesday morning the children will be having a special assembly to introduce them to our main chosen charity for this year, Smile Malawi. It is a charity for orphans run by a friend of the school, Elspeth Baecke. Elspeth will tell the children all about her work in Malawi on Wednesday and we will be holding a charity event sometime after Easter. The School Council would like to hold a Tag Day in order to raise funds for equipment; this will be on the first Friday after the February break, Friday 26th February.

And finally, may I remind you that the school car park is for staff use only and the disabled parking place for disabled use only; parents should not be parking in the disabled space to drop off or collect children unless there is an arrangement in place for this to happen. It is unfair to those parents who need, or have been given permission, to use this space.
